The Moderators Application
Moderator Team Statement of Purpose:
As all the other teams are primarily here to focus on giving you all the help you can get when it comes to getting your creative juices going, actually moderating and keeping the peace on the forum is something that needs it's own special attention. This isn't to say that the Moderators can't step in and help out the other departments, but their primary focus is to make sure the experience on the forum is enjoyable for you.
They are the best people to approach when it comes to things like sorting your profile or getting handy coding tips for editing your post to make it more snazzy. They are also there to approach if they feel something just isn't right, weather it's with another member of the board, or with a team member.
The Moderators are here to help you and you are always welcome to approach them with any questions you may have, including who to reach out to when it comes to a particular art issue.
We would like to thank you for taking the time to apply for the Moderator Team!
Before we continue it is important to note: Even though this is an art community, it is still a community and you do NOT need to know anythng about art in order for you to be on the moderation team. We would love to have people who want to help keep a community together in a harmoneous setting, and that's what this team is for.
Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability:
Username:
Pronouns (OPTIONAL):
Communities you Participate in? (can be chats, art galleries, forums):
Usernames you go by on other sites?
What prompted you to apply to this role?
Have you ever been a moderator before? If so, where?
What do you feel you could offer the team and members in terms of skill and support?
Do you have experience with forum boards? What kind of tasks have you been responsible for, if so?
Do you have experience working within a team? How did you find working within a team?
Give an example of when you had to use your skills to help calm down a challenging situation:
What availability do you have in terms of being on the forums?
Once you are finished with these, please submit your Application to Aurocard via Private Message. You should hear back within two weeks.
Thank you once again!
